Amazing place! Perfect location (albeit on a massive hill) but what do you expect being in Madeira 🤣 we loved that you had access to a rooftop pool and another massive pool complex on the ground floor with access to the sea! We loved how clean and comfortable the rooms were (would recommend an ocean view room). Staff were always very helpful and even booked us a taxi and had it waiting for 3.45am to head back to the airport. Breakfast was amazing massive selection and they changed it up everyday so you weren’t eating the same thing.

We loved the room, the pool next to the sea, and restaurants. We only thought the restaurant and breakfast was way too expensive. Loved the spa. Breakfast at the pool restaurant was not great and a bit small.

We spent 6 days here and the location was perfect, we spent some days on foot and then hired a car for the rest of it, using the hotels parking lot. The hotel is lovely, especially the rooftop pool if you want to avoid the crowds in the large pool. The large pool has sea access which is great if you want to avoid the people in the public rock pools. The breakfast was ok, I would describe it as continental style with a variety of breads, cold cuts, fruits, cereals, eggs, bacon, sausages, juices and coffee + a fitness section with protein powders and energy bars. I expected a little more from a hotel of this caliber with a variety of local produce and more health options but it was alright and we made do. The sweet potato bread was amazing. We had some issues with the room and the staff were helpful and sorted it out immediately, despite our arrival at 2am. They work with a local car rental service which brings the car to the hotel and then collects it from there too, this made life so much easier and would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Next Savoy in Funchal. The location is excellent - within walking distance of the city centre while offering a pleasant atmosphere. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. One of the highlights was the direct access to the sea, which made it easy to enjoy a refreshing swim each day. A great base for exploring Madeira - highly recommended.

A lovely, modern hotel not far from the city centre - less than 20mins walk from the Cathedral. Our room was comfortable, clean, spacious, with a nice view over the ocean. There is a well equipped gym on floor 1, and there is a footbridge connection with a swimming pool, ocean access area and the Recharge restaurant. The latter serves very nice food at reasonable prices, it is worth checking out. Everyone from the staff was very kind. Our daugther got sick on the second day of our stay and they did their best to help. Special thanks to the hotel manager for inquiring about our stay and ensuring our stay is comfortable. Thank you!

Hotel was clean and the bed was one of the comfiest hotel beds I have ever slept in. Breakfast had a good selection of foods, though quality with certain items could have been better. Room was very spacious, especially for a solo traveler and the view was gorgeous. I booked an ocean room and requested a quiet room and this was well accommodated. No noise disrupted my sleep at night. I had dinner at the restaurant and it was tasty. Rooftop pool and the pool area with ocean access were fabulous. Overall I did enjoy my stay, though there are certain things the hotel could improve upon.

Great location on the edge of both the city and Lido area. Ideal for exploring both. Room was spacious with fridge, microwave and cooking facilities (even though we didn't use them). Water and champagne on arrival (for our annivetsary). Fresh bottle of water and room cleaned daily. Bed very comfy and loved the large soft pillows. Bathroom was not very big but perfectly functional and shower was good. Breakfast was good, varied choice of hot and cold food, nice coffee and omlettes made to order if requested. Rooftop pool was very nice, and larger pool area across the road accessible by pathway. Hotel on a quiet street so no noise from outside or inside despite our room bring just beside the lifts. Staff helpful at all times, allowed us to store our bags after checkout wih continued access to pool facilities for the day. Overall very happy with our choice. Would recommend and would stay here again. A good 4* hotel.

Very modern hotel with direct access to the sea. Lovely pool area and gorgeous rooftop bar. However it was a bit cold in the evening to enjoy a drink there. Lovely restaurant by the pool area. Lots of sun loungers and complimentary towels. Good size bedroom with large bathroom. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Great location,very close to the city centre and port. Lots of good restaurants close by.
